Does MovingJapan use hanger boxes for clothes packing?
Many companies use hanger boxes and they are quite popular. MovingJapan prefers flat pack box packing alternative, due to:
- Clothes can fall off hangers
- Hanger boxes are top heavy and prone to fall over (during trucking, warehousing, shipping etc)
- Empty space in bottom of hanger boxes equates to paying extra for unused space
As clothes become crumpled in such situations, it negates the reason of using hanger boxes in first place. Generally it is much better to send suits, dresses in flat pack boxes (with hangers on) for ease of handling and unpackaing at destination.
